Vanessa Sims has been at Just ONE for 8 years. Vanessa started off in the admin department covering maternity leave before moving over to the compliance team as a compliance officer.
Vanessa’s relentless hard work and keen eye for detail meant that she was preordained for the role of Senior compliance officer. Since then, the compliance team has gone from strength to strength albeit within challenging economical times. Vanessa has always kept up to date with the laws and regulations that are involved with our compliance team.
This has been an even more difficult job with the introduction of several temporary COVID-19 measures.
Commenting on the promotion, Greg Price, Director of Just ONE said the following “I am very pleased that Vanessa’s hard work has been recognised by the company. Due to the expansion of the team and Vanessa’s drive and passion for the improvement of our services we know that Vanessa is the perfect person to take over the role of compliance manager.”
Vanessa takes over the role from Joanne Mallon who has built up the compliance department over the last 15 years. Joanne now feels that it is the right time to hand the reigns over to Vanessa so that she can concentrate more on her role of Payroll Manager.
