Just ONE has just hosted their first Local Authority Inspection/Due Diligence check for our Children and Young Persons department since Ofsted registration.
The inspection looked in detail at items such as:
- Management and leadership
- Preparing young people for adulthood
- Risk Management
The LA stated:
“This was a good visit where the Provider was able to demonstrate the full extent of their operation. The service was found to be robust and efficient in all critical areas.
The paperwork provided was fully compliant in all expected areas and demonstrated a clear understanding of the critical issues faced by care assisted people residing in assisted living accommodation.”
Furthermore, our homely, accommodation came in for extra praise:
“Upon visual inspection of the property, it was found to be in excellent decorative order with all relevant health and safety certification open for inspection.”
The CYP team is working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure they give young people the best opportunity making the transition from supported accommodation to independent living and have welcomed such positive feedback.
